TSUNAMI Network Partners (TNP) Corporation

TSUNAMI Network Partners (TNP) Corporation was founded in September 2000 for the planning and operation of the activities of “TSUNAMI”, a venture support organization.

“TSUNAMI” was established in August 2000 through collaboration between the public institutions and private enterprises in Kanagawa (a prefecture with its capital city Yokohama located in the west of Tokyo Metropolis). The idea is to set in motion a new wave of success by attracting promising venture enterprises and advanced business resources to Kanagawa and serving as a link among them.

The objective of “TSUNAMI” is to engage in a both effective and continuous activities to find, assist, and foster ventures, focusing on R&D-oriented companies that will contribute to the stimulation of economy. “TSUNAMI” is also expected to induce a supportive synergy between public and private sectors by complementing and collaborating with the regional support platform prepared by the prefectural government.

TNP aims to create a Silicon Valley type of ecosystem based on the activities of venture support organization "TSUNAMI".
