With a long career in US-Japan business, he was served on numerous technical standards policy-setting boards by the Japanese Ministry of Telecommunications. He delivered testimony before the Japanese Prime Minister's forum for foreign companies on market opening and liberalization measures. Successfully involved in certifying large construction cranes with the Japanese Ministry of Health and Welfare for import to Japan, he later represented the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority in Japan, Korea and India. Fluent in Japanese, he was a one-year visiting researcher in the Los Alamos National Laboratory for the US Department of Energy. He is responsible for North American strategy and specialized in Communications and Semiconductor sectors.
