Formerly Japan Branch Manager/Asian V.P. of The Austin Company and Vice President, Japan for the American Electronics Association. With a long career in US-Japan business, he was served on numerous technical standards policy-setting boards by the Japanese Ministry of Telecommunications. He delivered testimony before the Japanese Prime Minister's forum for foreign companies on market opening and liberalization measures. Successfully involved in certifying large construction cranes with the Japanese Ministry of Health and Welfare for import to Japan, he later represented the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority in Japan, Korea and India. Fluent in Japanese, he was a one-year visiting researcher in the Los Alamos National Laboratory for the US Department of Energy. He is responsible for North American strategy and specialized in Communications and Semiconductor sectors.

Formerly at Bank of China and Nissin Co., Ltd. He led venture capital investment and portfolio management of over thirty companies, after handling investment relationship, corporate planning, and business development at Nissin. He contributed successful IPO of four companies from his portfolio, Nippon Computer Dynamics, BB Net , Xinhua Finance, and AXELL . At TSUNAMI On The Road, he is responsible for China strategy and focus on communications and enterprise software sectors.
